![]() ![]() The combat system is too bad for a game that has quite a lot more of it than stardew. There is the elven and monster reskin of everything you already did initially so basically you get to new cities were you get to do everything you already did again, so you have 3 houses, 3 farms and 3 version of everything. There is too much grinding towards the end of the game and there are a bunch of things that feel unfinished. There's a ton of flexibility with how you customize/build out your town, both within your fields and within the town itself as you unlock certain things. There's new villagers that appear throughout the course of the game, it's not just the ones you meet day 1. There's a TON of really cute little friendship cutscenes you get with various villagers when you progress their friendship. There's an overall progression tracker that has set goals you can contribute to (similar to but not identical to the community center in stardew, since you contribute by taking certain actions vs. There are regular milestones that your town hits over time (that you contribute to by selling things/putting things in the "contribution box") that add little amenities around your town that your villagers interact with. I'm in Fall year 1 and there's a more steady flow of progression than with most games of this kind.
